Name: Robert Vavra
Main Focus Point: Equine Photography
About: His career began when he purchased a one way ticket to Spain. He had only enough to gain a one way with about $300.00 left over in his pocket, however in some stories relating to this amazing Equine Photographer he went to Spain "
he arrived in Seville with a creative vision that would eventually earn him celebrity status as the world's premier equine photographer and icon." Eventually he became the author of well over 80 books in many different languages, he has a one many gallery of well over 100 images
Reason Of Inspiration:
I have always been a fan of his art work as he tends to do pictures of Spanish breeds of horses, which in my eyes are some of the most beautiful and elegant breeds there are. They were bred to fight the bulls but anymore are widely used in the field of Dressage (My terms, Ballet on horse back). He rarely does images of horses under saddle in order to capture a more free and majestic image of what these horses can do. Below is one of my favorite images he's done. Four lovely Andalusian stallions each with a different curious look on their faces as if to say, "What are you doing?"
