Searching For This Photographer

Browsing Facebook and saw this image, thought it was ironic after we had our multiples project, however I can't find the photographer's name anywhere.

Lauren Freedmon - Dislike Work Critique

This might just be one of the first photographer's I have found where the work just isn't my forte. I have never been a huge fan of horror anything (Just a bit of a pansy lol) but especially work/movies that involves children being the main focus of it. I wasn't able to find much on this one as she only has a facebook page(https://www.facebook.com/lalalaurenphotography) and her website is still under construction. While not all her work revolves around horror I did manage to find a photo or two that I liked of hers, of course they were zero gore and something I could relate to content wise. Below is one of her creepier pieces that I truly didn't like, though again this goes back to the entire I don't much like horror/scary things.

This next photo I found...I'm sure we can all(At least I hope) understand and know just where it's coming from...
Any ideas yet? Yes? No..Maybe? Idunno?
Okay well I'll shine some light on it for those that don't know. The car is the killer and jealous car from Stephen King's famous book and movie, Christine.

Jimmy Nelson

I stumbled upon this photographer on my Facebook news feed. The strange thing however that caught my attention was the subjects in his photography. I got really curious about it as you don't see a lot of people taking photo's of tribes in different locations of the world. However, once I figured out his name and found his website, my interest really began to grow in his work. Some of his more interesting work has gone into his series "Before They Pass Away". In this series he has traveled the world in order to see just how some of these tribes have managed to survive with their traditions and practices in tact as the world around them has evolved and changed drastically.
His video that I've listed before is fascinating to hear, from his British accent that adds character to his story and personallity down to him talking about living with the tribes and their curiosity of him and his equipment. It's worth the 13 or so minutes to watch.

Jimmy Nelson‘s dream had always been to create a visual document that reminds us, and the generations to come, of the “beauty of pure and honest living”. The aim of his latest project is to keep the traditions of the world’s last tribes alive for us to learn from. The amount of risks this photographer is just astounding from his pictures of hurricanes down to his up close and personal views of Tornadoes.
